The New Hythe area is excellent for butterflies. By my reckoning there have been 22 species seen - I have seen 21 of them. The full list is:

New Hythe is a good area for butterflies. As well as the species listed to the left within a few miles you can also find Chalkhill Blue at Holly Hill, Adonis Blue and Marbled White at Queensdown Warren and Dark Green Fritillary at Trosley Country Park (see other local sites section.
